LONDON, England - World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is deeply saddened by the attack that took place at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, USA on Sunday morning, 12 June 2016.
David Scowsill, Purezidenti & CEO, WTTC, said: “This is a horrific attack, the largest mass killing that has occurred in the US since 9/11. Whilst the authorities investigate the motivations and the cause of this incident, our heartfelt condolences go out to the victims and their family and friends. We would like to express our support to the LGBT community and the people of Orlando, as they come to terms with this appalling act of violence.”
